Ramachandran (Sachin Khedekar) is a geneticist who, as part of a genetic experiment, ends up creating conjoined twins Vimalan and Akhilan. In the coming years, Ramachandran becomes very rich as his company launches a memory-boosting energy drink called Energion that gains a lot of popularity. In the meanwhile, Vimalan and Akhilan fall for by Anjali (Kajal Aggarwal), who joins their company as a translator. They end up spending a lot of time with her and Volga–a Russian journalist and Anjali’s friend. However, it is soon revealed that Volga is a spy who is trying to steal Energion's trade secrets. On being confronted by Vimalan, Volga warns him that Energion is an adulterated drink, and might be fatal to children. She further reveals how Ramachandran has earlier murdered his own employees to ensure this secret doesn’t come out in public. Soon after revealing this information to Vimalan, Volga is murdered. However, she had swallowed a pen drive comprising evidence of foul play on behalf of Ramachandran’s company before dying; Akhilan and Vimalan get hold of this pen drive after her autopsy, with the help of Anjali.  Following this, they are attacked by goons. A fight ensues, in which Vimalan gets grievously injured, and becomes unresponsive. He is declared brain dead. His heart is transplanted to Akhilan, and the two bodies are separated through surgery. In the meanwhile, Akhilan discovers that his father is responsible for Vimalan and Volga's death. He also gets hold of the pen drive that contains evidence of foul play by Ramachandran’s company, and a link tracing it to Ukraine. Akhilan and Anjali set out to solve the mystery. Their investigation leads them to a medical research centre, where they find out that Energion was in fact originally a steroid invented by Ramachandran to improve the performance of athletes. The photos they got from the pen drive are revealed to be of athletes who were competing in the 1992 Olympics and were declared dead in a plane crash. But these deaths were actually caused due to the consumption of Energion. On coming back to India, Akhilan demands that his father surrender. An argument and a fight follow, where Ramachandran’s leg gets crushed under a rock. Akhilan then abandons his father to die. The film ends with Akhilan and Anjali getting married, and becoming parents to twins.

    “Naani Koni”

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AreABKrZxH8

The film’s "Naani Koni" song, celebrating the romance of Vimalan and Anjali, is set amid Norway’s gorgeous panoramic landscapes and dramatic fjords. Viewers are treated to the most spectacular natural locations in Norway that include the Kannesteinen Rock and the Trollstigen Mountain Road. The choreographer and director are attuned to the spirit of the fjords, and strategically place the dancing pair precariously—on sharp and steep edges, and precipices jutting into the sea or the valley. High-angle and long shots capture the drama of this landscape, adding to the excitement, even edginess of their intense love.  As the lovers dance to the lyrics of the song, the other twin is always in the vicinity, a skulking witness to their romance. In fact, the sequence begins with Vimalan pushing away Akhilan into the water. In another scene, as the lovers are perched precariously on the mushroom-shaped Kannesteinen Rock, we see the twin seated, not far off, at the curve of the lower side of the rock. All the sequences involving the twin were achieved through VFX (a link to the making-of video is attached).  The unfolding romance begins with the reflections in the blue waters and continues through the song, as the pair is framed in medium long shots that take in the backdrop of the lofty mountains and steep valleys, lush green pastures, majestic trees and foliage, waterfalls, rising mists, sparkling waters, and blue skies. The blue, green, and grey landscapes are matched by the pair’s costumes, except in the shots where the lovers are perched on the Kannesteinen Rock, the rocky greyness offset by Kajal’s elaborate red and blue Indian ghagra-choli. The sheerness of her costumes always stands in sharp contrast to the cold and windy climate of the terrain. A scene that takes their romance to a fairy-tale time, is set on an ancient catamaran, where Vimalan mimics the popular Titanic pose to express his love for Anjali, while the twin is seen on a life boat, raising an oar to the sky with his heavily tattooed arm. In the following shots, the point of view shifts to Akhilan, as he dances alone, framed against the windows overlooking the rich green foliage, mountains, and the Stigfossen waterfall. As he sings passionately about love, we are left wondering if he indeed feels for Anjali as intensely as his twin, sharing his love for her, as he does everything else, including his body and soul.
